Anjana Deshpande, who later adopted the stage name Sukruta Deshpande, is an Indian actress who made her film debut in the 2014 Telugu film Nenu.
She has since worked in the Kannada and Telugu film industries. Sukruta didn’t have to wait long to make her Sandalwood acting debut because she is from Karnataka.
She appeared in Tharle Nan Maklu, directed by Rakesh UR, a romantic comedy opposite Naga Shekar, Shubha Poonja, Soujanya DV, and Yathiraj Jaggesh (2016).
Sukruta featured in the love drama Preethiya Rayabhari, directed by MM Mutthu, in 2018. The film is based on actual events.
Nakul Gowda plays the male protagonist, while Sukruta is the female lead. In significant parts, the cast also features Charan Raj, Padmaja Rao, Sadhu Kokila, and Suchendra Prasad.
